Coker Still Cookin'

Miami's AD Paul Dee said that despite rumors, the school was not looking into getting rid of Coach Larry Coker. After winning a national title in 2001 and going undefeated and losing in the title gamein 2002, the Hurricanes have never been the same. Although they have been competitive with the nations best, they suffered an embarrassing loss in the Peach Bowl last season, 40-3, and did not open this season the way they had hoped. They stand at 1-2, and have dropped out of the top 25 for the first time since 1999. Even though Coker might have his job now, he had better do something to get his team winning again, otherwise it will be his job.
