FSU - Miami Born on Date: 1987

The Hurricanes and the Seminoles get it on again to start the season for the 3rd time in a row on Labor Day night. We can look at all the numbers involved here. FSU and UM are both top 10 teams in most polls. The series is lead by Miami 29-21. Miami recently won 6 in a row till FSU broke that streak last year, 10-7. Miami is a 3.5 point favorite in Miami. Blah, Blah, Blah. But what about everything else? Everything else that makes this crazy rivalry what it is? What makes the ball float right, or left on field goals. Where do the ghosts of the Orange Bowl come from. What makes the Florida State - Miami rivalry as heated and nasty as there can be?
