Marve Suspended, Depth Chart Released - University of Miami football

Dan Stein on Robert Marve's suspension (among others) and the release of the depth chart: "Just got back from the media session after practice. To clear the air, Randy Shannon announced that Robert Marve has won the quarterback competition but will be suspended for the opener. Jacory Harris will go back to his understudy role the following week. This seems awkward, but both players handled it very maturely. Marve was quoted saying that "He (Coach Shannon) didn't mess up, I messed up. I am glad to be at a place where people are held accountable for their actions." This could be awkward, but Shannon made sure to point out that there was no quarterback controversy to see here. 6 others will miss the game with academic woes. Damien Berry, Kayne Farquharson, Eric Houston, Chris Ivory, Adewale Ojomo and Randy Phillips will join Marve on the sideline."
