Illinois' Ron Zook gets contract extension after a loss

After beating #5 Wisconsin 2 weeks ago, the Illini and Ron Zook were flying high. That's when school administrators probably put in motion plans to extend the contract of coach Ron Zook. Then they flopped last week to unranked and Bg 10 bottom feeder Iowa. Oh well, the extension had already been drawn up and Zook still gets it. It's a three year extension to 2012. Now, all that being said, Zook deserves this extension with the masterful job he has done in 3 seasons in Champaign. Plus, he's got a ton of talent in the freshman class that's just waiting to get on the field.
