Michigan's Branch Declares For Draft

In a much anticipated move, Michigan's dominant defensive tackle Alan Branch has declared for the draft. The massive lineman has anchored a defensive line that was #1 in rush defense. In a season that was supposed to be about fellow lineman LaMarr Woodely, Branch was name to more All-America teams than Woodley, and is projected by many to go higher in the draft (he is thought to be a top-10 pick). The Wolverines line will suffer from losing Branch, but Carr has recruited well, and there will be plenty of talent to fill the holes.
