Dantonio will Exceed Expections again this year..

The Spartans keep on winning, They are having a Great Season. Its good to be Green and White !!! ? Expectations seem to be growing? Its one thing to be excited at the success of the season, its another to begin to expect wins week in and week out.. at least for now.. Spartans have to be careful we don't begin to act like scUM fans? But, I guess it would be kinda good if WalMart sold more Spartan Green and White shirts and hats? Is it right in Expecting a Special Season.. one where we are possibly vying for the Big Ten Championship with JoePa at the Last game of the season? ?? SpartyMSU say No?. Expecting is not the right word, but acceptance is?. we will accept it as it comes?. What we do expect is year in year out improvement and Steps forward.. But not the Whole Enchilada all at once? In Sports as in Business, it takes time to change culture, time to instill new values and ideals?. And it is dangerous if not destructive to expect results too soon.. As Elvis said, "Only Fools Rush in.." It has taken decades of mediocre seasons to get to the point we're at.? Let the New Spartan Culture take stronger root? Dantonio has said in meetings that this is a long road, and continual steps forward are the key, not immediately grabbing for the Brass Ring.. Sure, you never go into a game and think you can't win, and Spartans will drive for and embrace victories, but we have to be careful, as fans, of getting too Exuberant.. So far, they have met my expectations for the year? And its easy to see how they will exceed them. Damn.. they're exciting to watch.. Spartan Stadium hasn't been this fun in YEARS !!! But, build the Program, expand the Program, entrench the Program and its culture in a manner where slippage is minimized, and Forward progress is maximized. Spartan Football could be approaching a cross roads, one which I have hoped to see for the last 28 years? So lets approach it with excitement, approval, and support? But lets not begin to expect wins or be disappointed in possible periodic losses. Spartans will beat Ohio State this weekend? Spartans will Go 8 ? 4, possibly 9 ? 3 for the year.. Lets continue to build for the future? Lets not push for the Brass Ring and Burn out? Sparty On !!!
