Todd Reesing Finalist For Davey O'Brien Award

Kansas quarterback Todd Reesing was named one of 15 semifinalists for the Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award it was announced on Monday. Reesing, a first-year starter, has guided Kansas to an 8-0 record and a national ranking of eighth. The sophomore enters this week's nationally televised game (Fox Sports Net) with Nebraska ranked 19th in the NCAA in pass efficiency (144.21) and 25th in total offense (272.25). "This is a huge honor to be included on this list of great quarterbacks," Reesing said. "I am excited to be a semifinalist, however the most important thing to me is that our team keeps winning."
