Back On Track
Cameron McWright is back out once again trying to make an impact for the Missouri Tigers. The #4 Tigers will contend for the BCS championship this year and seem to be pretty solid at every position. Though there run defense was not spectacular they did a good job shutting down future NFL star Darren McFadden. With Sean Weatherspoon, Van Alexander, and Brock Christopher expected to start this year McWright will have to push for playing time on special teams. McWright, a 5'11, 208 pound linebacker recorded over 20 sacks in his high school career while at the weakside position and may become a suitable pass-rushing linebacker. While only at 208 pounds, McWright looks like he is around the 215-220 mark and can put on 10-15 more pounds without losing any speed (seeing as his lower body gets stronger). Not a factor in Missouri's success last year, McWright can prove to be a difference maker with his special team abilities and pass rushing skills. Weather or not McWright recieves any playing time is up in the air, but if he does expect great things to happen (defensively) for the tigers special teams.
