Greatest Individual Season (Any Sport, College or Pro)

Let's get a little discussion going on the best indiviual season by an athlete in any sport, college or pro.  I don't think that it is possible to narrow it down to a particular number 1, but let's see what we can come up with.

I'm going to have to go with Barry Sanders and his 1988 Hesiman season for OSU.  Keep in mind this was his first and only year as a starter.
