WVU Will Prepare As If Opener Is Next Week

After two weeks of summer camp that Coach Rich Rodriguez admits didn't completely prepare his football team for its opening game, West Virginia embarks on a simulation tonight designed to be as close to the real thing as is possible. Following practice and media obligations, the Mountaineers will head to Lakeview Resort and delve into the routine that precedes all Saturday home games -- even though they don't open their season until Sept. 1 against Western Michigan.
