West Virginia Moves to #3 in the BCS

With the help of the loss of Southern California to Oregon State on Saturday, the West Virginia Mountaineers moved to number 3 in the BCS polls. The Mountaineers slipped into the spot previously held by the Trojans. Although they are at number 3, their winning percentage is still barely above the number 4 and 5 teams, Florida and Louisville. The Mountaineers face off against Louisville, their Big East rival, next week in a battle of the undefeateds. Let's face it- the Big East isn't that strong. Certainly not as strong of a conference as the SEC. Even if one of those teams goes undefeated (which they probably will), I still feel like a time like Florida or Auburn deserves to be in the national title game more than they do. The SEC has always proven to be the toughest conference in college football, and for one team to only have one loss in the conference means a lot.
