Hank Blalock rehabilitating his shoulder and attitude

Hank Blalock has been disappointing for the third straight season, seeing his numbers drop each year since 2003 and ending last year with yet another monumental second half collapse. Jaramillo has been very critical in the past of Blalock, but is excited to hear he's coming around. Jaramillo had left Blalock with these jarring comments on the last day of the season. "I told him, 'You are a waste of talent,' " Jaramillo said. "I asked him if he was going to keep [making excuses about age] his whole career. He knows I think he can be the best hitter on our club. I believe in him. But I was frustrated inside just like him."
