Will Vick land in Buffalo?

Michael Vick is still out on the open market and according to former Colts Head Coach Tony Dungy, he is gathering interest.

Could some of that interest be coming from Buffalo, New York?

The Buffalo Bills Owner Ralph Wilson's sole reason for signing Terrell Owens was to make Buffalo relevant again.
"I said, 'Sign him!' " Wilson told the Associated Press. "In Buffalo, we haven't had a national figure publicity-wise since [Jim] Kelly."

Well, if Wilson wants relevancy to return to Buffalo then he can take it a step further from signing the  controversial wide receiver Terrell Owens - and sign yet another controversial player in Michael Vick.

It is already mainstream media as to where Vick will end up. So when he actually signs with a team that team will be bombarded with media members and the NFL's spotlight will shine upon Vick's new team.

Players on the Bills have come out stating that they would like Wilson to sign Michael Vick. Those players are safety and NFLPA rep George Wilson and the Bills current star of stars - Terrell Owens. Even Buffalo's starting quarterback Trent Edwards wouldn't mind him joining the team. Which would seem odd because he would probably be taking over Edwards starting position.

Now there have been reports stating that Wilson will not sign Vick. But Wilson is making an attempt at making the Bills a team to beat in the NFL again - and by the looks of the team last night at the Hall of Fame game the Bills have made a great stride. But if they wish to really thrust this team into the spotlight again, then getting Vick is their only option.
