Cedric Benson's Fantasy Football Value in 2009
The
Bengals will still be a bad team in 2009. But Cedric should benefit
from the return of Carson Palmer. With defenses playing back to stop
the pass, Benson can take advantage of teams not beginning able to load
8 in the box. That was something you couldn't say in his time with the
Bears as they had a horrible passing game around him the year he was a
feature runner. All and all I like Benson as a middle to later round back in fantasy.
Lets face it he's a start and will get the ball 20 or more times in
stretches of the season. With so many teams running two backs, their
just aren't many true #1 runners right now in the NFL.....
