Houston Texans Training Camp Battles

The Texans’ training camp opened last Thursday, with the rookies reporting, veterans reporting on Friday, and already the battles for spots on the roster have started.
All of the starters from last year showed up, with the exception of Dunta Robinson, even though not all of them have long term contracts worked out yet. TE Owen Daniels and LB DeMeco Ryans have both discussed their dissatisfaction with their contract status, but both are in camp and working hard to help the defense and offense improve.
The injury bug has already been nibbling at the team. Several players are on the pup already, with the most notable being CB Antwaun Molden (foot), who should be back for the start of the regular season. DT Travis Johnson (hernia) had surgery a month ago, and should be ready for the start of the season also. DT Amobi Okoye had his knee scoped last month, and the coaches are easing him back in to the training, so as to not re injure the knee.
