      Why was she taunting? Because of her jersey? If she is a Pats fan at an Indy game, should she where an Indy Jersey and a bag over her head? Fans from the away team are actually allowed into the stands. Perhaps they should be segregated from the locals going forward as to not get annialated by drunk and angry rivals. That is just silly. Last summer I went to a red sox/chicago game and no one was booing the chicago fans..no one cared. Obviously we want to have rivals, and we want to have people come to the games. Being immature and screaming at kids that are 10-18 boy or girl is just stupid.. Maybe it was a joke, I don't know I didn't see it. But if it wasn't then shame on the fans for being assholes.

    Dude, you're wrong. Pats fans (like me) generally don't have serious hatred for the Colts. Now, there is some animosity due to recent events, but we save our hatred for the Jets and the Dolphins, among other teams. If it were a Jets or a Dolphins jersey, that might be a different story, but not the Colts.

Most so-called Patriots fans couldn't care about the team ten years ago, but you ask em all and they will tell you they have always loved the Patriots, BS. Having spent time in the New England area in the mid 90s I can tell you personally that the only sport that 98% of Bostonians cared about was Red Sox.   I'm sorry, did I miss something? I'm almost positive had this game been in Philly and the little girl was wearing a Giants uniform, they would have booed. Or if the girl had been a Packers fan in Soldier Field, they would have booed. The Pats fans boo when anything doesn't go their way. No hatred here. Maybe the fans might be classless, but at least the Colts organization isn't, unlike the Patriots.

As a young, female Ohio State fan, I'll get crap from Michigan fans if they see what I'm wearing, but I get it cause I know I feel the same way and that I'd do the same thing to them! What's wrong with a fun rivalry? If she made it that far in the pass, punt, kick, she's knows enough about football to be able to understand and laugh it off. I know at the age of 14 I would have gotten it and thrived in it.

  I'm not defending it, but seriously, this happens every year. It's not Indy-specific behavior. They announce the PPK winners and the teams the represent, and if one of the winners happens to represent a team in the same division (or a rival from another division), the fans boo. It's not a big deal.

  I am not surprised at the Colts fans attacking a young Patriots fans. Indy fans are soft, malicious and not very bright. I am just happy to see that the Colts buying off the refs didn't work this time. Bill Polian is gonna have to petition the league to change the rules again. Maybe he can petition for the Colts to start the game with a ten point lead.

    You're frickin brilliant. A few drunken fans boo this girl, who probably expected it wearing a Pats jersey in the dome (it doesn't make it right, I thought it was wrong to boo her too, and I'm a Colts fan originally from Indy) and you say that Indy fans are "soft, malicious and not very bright." Wow, that makes lots of sense, make a statement about an entire fan base because a small portion of fans make idiots of themselves. I'm not sure how you can be soft and malicious, but I guess Indy fans can pull off that double whammy.
    
    I doubt there was any maliciousness to it either, I'm guessing some guys booed her, laughed about it, and then got dirty looks from some of the fans around them that know better. If I'd been there and done something like that, my friends and family would have just looked at me and said "not cool."
    
    Last time I went to a Pats game in Foxboro I wore my Colts jersey and got shoved around and spit on every time the Pats scored a TD, do I assume that all Pats fans are malicious? No, just the drunk ones who don't show any self restraint. I now live and work in Southeastern MA and have friends who are Pats fans. They respect me and I respect them. So grow a brain and quit making generalizations about people from an area you obviously know nothing about.

  Bill Belichick is not going to win any public personality coaches. But he sure knows how to X and Os. It is interesting to note that he maintains many friendships with coaches through football but colleges and pros. He hangs out with Jimmy Johnson and lately Bill Parcells again.
  
  I think Dungy gets a break bc he is a church going man. He talked trash about the Pats earlier this year. Plus he whines just as much as Petyon. Polian is still the biggest whiner is sports.
  
  Btw what is Dungy's record in the playoffs? It is clearly not as good as Belichick's record.
