It may be a reach to say the return of an interior offensive lineman is the most important training camp issue facing the Indianapolis Colts entering 2009.

Then again, it may not be.

Ryan Lilja, a starter at guard from 2004-2007, missed last season with a knee problem, and in his absence the Colts' rushing offense had its most difficult season of the last decade. Lilja returned to the practice field during the Colts' recent organized team activities sessions, and is cautiously optimistic he will be ready for the coming season . . .
