One of the major offseason questions around the Indianapolis Colts' special teams -- the health of K Adam Vinatieri -- didn't become a question until late in the offseason.

That was when the Colts announced Vinatieri had undergone surgery.

Vinatieri, entering his 14th NFL season, underwent surgery in early June to relieve what the team called “nagging discomfort in his right hip.” The team said in a statement shortly after the procedure that the physician who performed the procedure believes the situation will not affect Vinatieri's availability during the season . . .
