NFL Offseason Preview -- Kansas City Chiefs
Kansas City Chiefs 2011 Record: 7-9 PPG For: 13.3 (31st) PPG Against: 21.1 (12th) 2012 Cap Number: $95,844,195 Draft Position: #11 Overall Pick After being the surprise winner of the AFC West two seasons ago, it seemed somewhat inevitable that Kansas City would take a step back. Matt Cassel just was not going to play at a Pro Bowl level two years in a row. But when the Chiefs opened up 2011 with a -79 scoring differential in their first two games – well, that was more like the Chiefs taking fourteen steps back and inadvertently falling off the roof in the process. They rebounded, of course, and ended with a respectable 7-9 record – which sadly nearly won the division – but there are some clear problems that need addressed. Nevertheless, the division they play in affords them a huge opportunity to jump right back into the playoff picture as soon as next season.

Well, off the roof is what I'm anxin' 2 C. That's Cassel to Bowe, off the barn and in the end-zone. 6POINTS! ! ! Then I'd like to see what the defense has in store, not in pre-season game3 but in game two of reg. season, wit' Tamba Hali mad as hell for thew suspension. Hard hits. That's what causes old-school Chief's football turnovers for the opposing teams. And long strong arms like Neil Smith had. Why don't we bring back the awards system for Defensive plays and forced turnovers like back in the day, when the only thing that stopped us in the playoffs was Indy and Peyton? I 've not read merch anywhere on the Mechs. of the Defense, but to me it appears that we are loaded up like buckshot on offense. This could be a breakout- hi'scoring season,...in this afc div. I love the way Matt Cassel came in N.E. to back up Brady after he'd been dissimulated by the Chief's Defense a few moons ago. He got alot of the job done. We just need to take care of him on the front line. And the line also needs to be strong to get Charles ajump-start into the backfield, running full speed ahead on wearied opponents, into the end-zone. CAN U DIG IT! ! ! !! !! ! ! ? ? ? ? :? /
