The Red Sox hunt for a shortstop part 5

Since the end of the 2004 season the Red Sox have tried to fill shortstop, but have continually been dissapointed in their choices. Again this offseason draws near with several replacement level options (Green and Lowrie) and a solid glove, but no bat (Gonzalez). There are also some trade and free agent options. Where should the Sox go and will this be the year they solve the rotating door or will we be looking at this again after 2010?
