Why cut Sulak?

I was reading on nf.com today that the Raiders just cut their 6th round pick. Why would you cut a guy who has the potential to be a starter, a very inexpensive starter at that, or even a solid 2nd line guy? I've heard nothing but good things about this kid and next thing I know he's gone. What is the management (Al Davis) thinking when they go through the draft process these days? They hit a Homerun when they drafted McFadden don't get me wrong, but this last draft was abhorrent. Absolutely atrocious. A disaster.
I can't wait for my Raiders to be back on top, but with moves like these, I question how long it will take, or if I'll see it again in my lifetime.
