With Kurt Warner back in Arizona again and Matt Linart behind him, Boldin is set for another solid year. This hard nose physical receiver is the heart and sole of the Cardinals offense. It's rare that you find a pass catcher playing the intimidation role for a team, but this big man is the exception. Because of this it will always hurt his health as he takes extra shots from defenders because he doesn't go down easy. Boldin is also not the fastest runner in the league, which is why he lasted in the NFL draft to the Cardinals in the second round. This information plus the fact he gets a lot of catches per game is the reason he only gets around 12 yards per catch average. Again health has been a problem for Boldin in recent years (probably why he hasn't received a new deal) as he has played only 12 games a season in 07 and 08.
