Jonathon Stewart's Fantasy Football Ranking
Looking Back on the 2008 Season
Despite needing surgery for a bum foot, Stewart was the 2nd selected
running back in the 2008 NFL Draft. Head coach John Fox was very
excited to have the big kid from Oregon in his back field. Even though
Fox was happy he still choose to stay with his history of letting the
veteran runner start (DeAngelo Williams). Because of this Stewart
played second fiddle to Williams most of the season. Despite his
secondary role Stewart still amassed 836 yards on only 184 carries, not
to also point out he had a beefy 10 touchdowns. Not bad for a back up!
