Wes Whisler needs the NL. WHy won't Chicago trade him?

The Chicago White Sox do not want a .289 hitter to hit.

Wes Whisler, who checks in at 6-foot-5 and 240 pounds with Ben Affleck-good looks, could be the major leaguer that everyone will be talking about, if the ChiSox would just trade him to a National League organization.

A minor league pitcher with a career ERA of 4.01 is not a huge wow, until you consider the bat that goes along with the arm.
