NFC EAST is getting interesting

Hmmmm, who would have thought us Cowboy fans would have been dealt some great Cards yesterday? The Giants and Cowboys each have two losses going into week 8 and I will be watching tonights game with an almost giddy furvor. Can the Skins wake up and put together a decent game against the Eagles? Probably not but if I were Jim Zorn, this entire week's montra would be "IF the Raiders can do it than so can we". Looking ahead to week 8, The Eagles and Giants clash heads which means one of these teams will have at least 3 losses.

Can the Blue Stars be aligning up above Jerryworld?

WHAT IF: Andy Reid continues to call 80% pass plays? What if the Eagles' O line continues to secretly laugh with each other everytime McNabb is found laying on his back? What if Clinton Portis has a great game?

I'll tell you what....The Eagles will have 3 losses!

WHAT IF: The Eagles beat the Giants next week and the Cowboys beat the Seachickens?

I'll tell you what....we would be looking at the Cowboys sitting atop the NFC East all by its lonesome. All within a matter of 7 days.......hmmmm

WHAT IF: In week 9 the Cowboys beat the Eagles 44-5?

I'll tell you what..... probably won't happen but they could still win and force the Eagle's front office to fire Andy Reid or name Kolb as starter

Okay, okay, I'm getting ahead of myself here........BUT WHAT IF????

  No, you didn`t. The `LOL` that followed was my derision of the so-called domination. As I said a while back, the Gints got away with a win by the skin of their teeth. But, it was all of the TV `experts` who predicted the G-men to `dominate`, in that game. It was that, which I was ridiculing.

I have faith in the Birds beating the skins down tonight but, I'm gonna reserve the smack talking for a later date. After the loss to Oaktown there isn't to much to say until we play. Wheel, sounds like you and Canuck need to shoot a fair one in the parking lot!

Like I said before the Cowboys are on track to being a better team. So far so good it takes time to be an SB contender. Using the Saints as a template. It takes three to four years of good moves before you get a solid team.

Your thread is correct, the NFC East is getting much interesting for sure, however I wouldnt go getting ahead of myself. Kudos to ur Cowboys, I give em credit for that beat down on Atlanta, I never saw that coming and apparently the Falcons didn't either lol! I watched that game & was shaking my head on how overrated the Falcons are hahaha! Um did someone give them the memo on Miles Austin? Lol! This guy was open all day long, anyway I was impressed with the beat down but the jury is still out as far as I'm concerned. As for the Giants, I'm not surprised one bit, I've said it over & over I'm not impressed with them & felt they were overhyped & apparently its rung true. Beating up on creampuffs don't make u an elite team at all & the same goes for the Pats destruction on two hapless no win teams the past 2 weeks, BIG FREAKIN DEAL! As for the Eagles, I agree with Wheelman, I'm not going ta say anything until I c how they come out & play; after last week's debacle there isnt much u can say, if the Eagles are a legit 4-2 team then they need ta prove it by winning tonight, otherwise they fall to the bottom with the Skins at 3-3. Last week should be a wakeup call for the Birds! They need ta come out & play hard in every phase of the game AND they need ta run the ball more, MUCH MORE!

All of a sudden, according to bigrele, the Falcons are overrated just because the Cowboys laid it on them. They made the playoffs last year and Ryan had only been sacked two times in four games before they arrived in Dallas. Get over it. I guess we could say the Eagles are overrated because they couldn't beat Oakland?

What does it take for you Cowboy fans to realize that your team is always on fire September-November but then Romo and the rest of the team tanks in December? Youre all excited about possibly being in first place after week 8 but everyone knows you will fall apart and miss the playoffs or lose in the first round. That's just how it is!!!

  I think this team is still a work in progress. You can see the defensive improvement every week now. Now, if they can just get Roy Williams hooked up in that offense, they can roll. We didn't get any hype this year and I think it was for the better. Rock on.

  Until Romo wins a playoff game nobody is going to take your team seriously. Mcnabb and the Eagles have shown they can make it to the Super Bowl and be a play away from winning--which makes our aspirations realistic. You guys can't even manage to win a big regular season game at the end of the season to get in. It was basically a playoff game which is why I'm sure you got handled.

We still have the most playoff wins of all time, even if we haven't won one in a while. Enjoy your window of opportunity while you can. You boy, Donovan, hasn't exactly been lighting it up this season. Philly losing to Oakland was the highlight of my season , so far. And, they didn't exactly look like world beaters against the lowly Skins this past week.

Nothing that interesting thus far for the NFC East. Pro-picks had this down to a science in June, almost as if it was scripted. Giants, typically overated,....again, Skins....no hope in sight. Dallas, putting on the "I think I can, I think I can" show on in the fall...only to come down to a rude kick in the grundle. Philly, just warmin up the afterburners to blow the roof off this motha f**ka!!
