  The only true redemption would be to sweep the Eagles and knock THEM out of the playoffs. Until then, it's a good start. Funny, they all said we would go 6-10. Think we'll lose 10 in a row???

    I disagree with that Bowl. The big picture is to get a shot at winning a Championship. Spending too much attention on a past regular game season loss is defeating the purpose.
    
    Tony Romo's record against the Eagles is 3-2 right now. We vindicated that loss last year. You're getting caught up in revenge looks like to me.
    
    That was a terrible loss last year but let's keep this in purspective. The Eagles took advantage of a depleted team racked with injury to key players. This time the shoe is on the other foot. Time to move ahead and prepare for the Packers. Which by the way is a perfect trap game.

    You do have a point there, my man. I still want to drive the nail in the coffin on Jan. 3, if possible. I'm not going to be as bold as some of the Eagles fans and predict destruction. The Boys just need to get to that 10 or 11 win level and hopefully win the division. That would be a good start.

    I agree with you Bowlbound. It's redemption for now but true redemption would be a sweep. If we lose to them in Dallas the momentum swithces back to Filthadelphia. Right now bragging rights in the yard belong to the Cowboys and it has to stay that way with a sweep. Peace.

  Glad your team shut some of the eagles fans up guys. There are some cool eagle fans but many just need to shut their pie holes. Nice win for you guys last night.

  As an Eagles fan - OK Dallas won. I will be surprised if they are on top of the NFC East at the end of the season.

    ya i was thinkin the same thing...never been there before but it wasn't as loud as I thought it would be but nevertheless still a good football environment...I went to chickie and pete's(I think thats what it was called and i think that's how its spelled lol) had a good time there and then 610 setup a radio broadcast out front as well...One of the workers asked me to get on the mic cause they wanted a dallas fan to ask some questions hugh douglas and eskin and others...By the way If i sounded like an idiot it was b/c I was incredibly drunk considering i had been drinking since the plane ride in the morning lol

    Funny thing is Bowl is how Chris Collinsworth pointed out how Asante Samuels got his bell rung and that new D/C of the Eagles still put him out there and he knew he wasn't ready and it showed.

    Yeah, I noticed how Asante didn't want any part of contact after that. Probably had a mild concussion. But, that's all footbal players have always been in the NFL. Pieces of meat to be used up for the good of the team. It's a business and some will do anything to get their goal accomplished.

  Nice to see Eagles and Dallas fans getting along. Football is just a game, but it's a good diversion from the state of the world/country right now. The trash talk is a lot of fun and I'm sure we'll all be back at it soon!

  We are redeemed from the fact that we proved that fluke which happened when the Cowboys weren't at full strength.
  
  These Eagles fans need to wake up to fact the Cowboys aren't going away because of a bad game, nor do we expect the Eagles to fold their tents either.
  
  The goal is to win a SB so there are steps before we get that opportunity. So far so good.

  i wouldnt say they are cleary a better overall team, both teams didnt play well the cowboys just had 1 more big play than the eagles...
  
  anyway, i am expecting a good 2nd half to the season...should be an interesting finish for the NFC East.

    I think the Giants will get it together. Like Robbo said, that foot injury could hamper Eli the rest of the season. They have a lot of veterans on that team, so I think they will come out of this and have a run.

  Eli is bothered by his bout with plantar fasciitis. Causing pain when it's time to step through his passes. Their big backs are gimpy as well, but I suspect them to be ready when it counts. It's a long season.
