I believe Mr. kellyscott has expressed the notion that the Dallas Cowboys of today (and of recent years) do not compare to the former Cowboys teams run by one Tom Landry.
One might extrapolate from that, that the current Cowboys team does not, accepting the premise, merit the same (or close to same) level of positive merit that the teams of the Landry era earned.
And I'd say he's right.
In shorter, blunter terms, Jerry Jones is a piece of junk, and Wade Phillips couldn't get a job in Washington.
The Cowboys will continue to under-achieve until changes are made, TOP-DOWN.
They were never "america's team", and the sooner they abandon that marketing bullshizzle, the better.
That is all.
