Can the Detroit Lions afford to keep DE Cliff Avril? - Detroit Sports Media | Examiner.com

Now that he 2011 NFL season is over for the Detroit Lions work can begin on
building the roster for 2012. One of the key decisions that has to be made is
the future of DE Cliff Avril who will be an unrestricted free
agent for the very first time. In a contract year Avril put up strong numbers with 11 sacks and six forced
fumbles. However the Lions already have a lot of money
tied up in their Defensive Line.
