In the previous match-up versus the Vikings and ‘Niners (Week 14 of the ‘07 season), SFO’s defense stacked the line of scrimmage (LOS) with eight men in the box on virtually every play. At times, the 9th defender came down in the box; a clear indication that the ‘Niners did not fear nor respect the Vikings’ passing game.
