Pass Defense is Becoming a Team Strength

I’m sure we all remember the NFC Championship game in 1998. I bring this up not to rub salt in the wounds, rather to use that game as a point of reference.

Chris Chandler & Co. passed all over the Vikings’ defense on their way to the Superbowl. From that game, it was clear the Vikings did not have the secondary to compete with championship-caliber teams.
