Cal's Vereen & Felder return from injury only to lose Williams & Bishop
The Bears have been plagued by injuries in the past, but I guess every football team is going through that at this point in the year. I looked on ESPN's College Football section yesterday and 90% of the headlines were about guys blowing out their ACL's or lost for the year, so in comparison I guess the Bears have been pretty lucky thus far. LB Anthony Felder and RB Shane Vereen returned to the practice field this week but unfortunately the LB corps lost starter Worrell Williams to an abdominal strain and LB Devin Bishop to a sprained thumb with several torn ligaments. Bishop underwent surgery and should be back on the field within a few weeks Tedford said. Let's hope that we're at full strength for the Michigan State Spartans on August 30th!
