Jahvid Best looks to break out for Cal football

The Bears open up their season with the Michigan State Spartans, and one of the exciting things about the game is the start of the Jahvid Best era at running back. The sophomore from Salesian High is replacing Justin Forsett in the backfield, who had replaced Marshawn Lynch, so there is a bit of an expectation to keep the RB position strong. Best was sidelined with a hip injury last season that some were comparing to former Raiders RB and baseball player Bo Jackson, but luckily for the Bears and Best he has returned with his same blazing speed. We'll see it on display at Memorial Stadium on Saturdays, and I hope we all like what we see.
