A Halloween in Philadelphia

Halloween really is the best holiday for every age group, when you’re a kid all you do is walk around your neighborhood and accept inordinate amounts of candy and get sugar highs all night, when you turn into a young teen you get mass amounts of candy and get a little too into vandalism for a night, when you get older you go to clubs where women don’t even wear costumes they come out in lingerie and you have another excuse to drink excessively on a night that you probably shouldn’t be and when you’re old enough to have a family you get rid of your kids for a night and watch scary movies all night. It’s Perfect.

Luckily enough I’m at the stage where I get to look at half naked women all night and ended up waking up as Agent K (men in black) and walking out of Pocahontas’s apartment ready to collapse of dehydration at any moment, scarring a poor women asking me for directions back into her car and nearly crashing my own in route home. Man I Love Halloween.

It was also a great weekend for all Yankees fans who watched the Yankees take a dominant 3-1 lead against an obviously over matched Phillies team. To be completely honest if Lee isn’t pitching the Phils aren’t going to win. But he just happens to be pitching tonight which means the series is going to back to The Bronx. Where Pedro and Pettitte will go at it meaning the winningest pitcher in post season history will get another win to his resume and Yankees walk away with the 27th World Series Championship.

But how about them Giants, getting absolutely crushed by the Eagles who without Westbrook had their way with the Giants D. I switched over to the Jets game when the first half ended and I never looked back. This Giants team needs a bye week very badly, and next week they have to face another potent offense in San Diego. It doesn’t look good for the Giants at the moment and I have zero optimism for this team. The Giants will be in the playoffs at the end of the year but unless Coughlin can get more out the replacement players on D then this team has to replace some players and Coordinators.
