Eagles: The aftermath of Lambeau

Eagles get ready this Monday to take on division rivals the Washington Redskins. The Eagles are coming off a tough loss to the Green Bay Packers on sunday in a 16-13 loss on a last second field goal. Just watching the field goal brought back memories from last year (Matt Bryants 60+ yard field goal, Saints last second field goal). Just seems the Eagles can not get a break with these last second field goals. The defence played fantastic and me like many other fans thought the D was going to be the weak point in this game and the offence was going to be great but the defence played like the D they are supposed to be. We had plenty of successful blitz, we put pressure on Favre all day long, and we handled there run game like are front 4 and back field should be doing. The offence was the weak point. Too many dropped passes, bad decision making with the play calling, and a "Rusty" Donovan McNabb. I've been hearing this "Rusty" word getting thrown around alot about McNabbs performance but come on i did not even expect him to come back 100% and be amazing in his actual game since his torn ACL. I did see improvement from him though. McNabb scrambled well and took alot of hits from the Packers D and still managed to get up and continue playing. That shows me alot of what to expect from our franchise QB when he is 100% again. Now we look forward to the Skins who came off a close win of thier own beating the Fins in OT 16-13. A little tune up on offence, keep the D the same, and the clutch Mahe as our new PR ( oh by the way thanks JR Reed!) the Eagles will rebound at home on Monday Night with a win over the Redskins 24-3.
