  Thats a lot for Reggie Wayne...a 1st rd pick, former 2nd rounder, and a 4th rounder. We would need to get a 4th rounder or 3rd rounder with that deal...however I just don't believe it to be true. 10 more days till this board is lighting up with actual trade material.

  I was watching NFL Live earlier and I heard no mention of this, maybe I wasnt paying attention due to the recent crap they've been spewing out. So until it's announced on PE.com and there's a press conference, I will refrain from posting anything I hear from ESPN.

  This doesn't seem that outlandish to me. Peyton Manning could throw to a two-legged dog and still get TDs. Why not trade Wayne when his stock is high?

    Holy Crap thats the funniest picture I have seen ever.   I honestly dont understand how people could say that this trade would not be worth it reggie wayne had an amazing season for the colts this year and would have a crazy impact on the eagles this trade is the best rumor ive heard so far that being said this will never happen because it is just another rumor that has been made up to go along with the other 1,000 rumors that have been posted on here

  yea this is a little crazy guys. whoever wrote this is bs, no way peyton would let colts trade wayne away, harrison is on his last leg and anthony gongalez is a slot recive at best no way he could be a go to guy in a couple years, colts would be crazy to do this trade. even though it makes me salvate just hearing about the eagles gettin a play maker at wide reciver.

  You guys, all these rumors are true lol, well most of them atleast. Thing is Eagles have a lot of players they are targeting, some more than others. A lot of these trade proposals wont happen, but who knows. I don't think the Reggie Wayne thing will happen, because Wayne is just too good to let go. Number 2, this Donald Driver trade is very intriguing. I actually could see that happening, being that Green bay has a lot of good receivers, and those receivers are very good with yards after the catch. They can part ways with Driver because they have Jennings, and a handful of lesser known receivers who are pretty damn good. But yes back to Wayne....a first rounder for him is well worth it. He is a proven receiver, and one who is proven in the league. One problem though...I don't see the eagles parting ways with a 1st rounder for him. I think a lower round pick, somewhere between 2nd and 4th round, along with some of our expendable players (a la Reggie Brown, Darren Howard, Considine, even Kearse even though I really like him), would be worth it to use on a receiver. Anything more might hurt us more in the long run, as you know the Eagles tend to build through the draft...being the reason we are ALWAYS in it...We need to find a way to get some quality A list playmakers without losing too much and straying away from what we normally do.

  reggie wayne holy shit, this will not happen by any means, he just signed a monster deal not long ago, peyton would never let it happen, but let me just say that i am a big big reggie wayne fan and i would theoretically give up just about anyone short of westbrook, including a first round draft pick for the guy, i cant say enough about him and its a shame no one else seems to, although i think these rumors are bullshit and im tired of them and i have a lot less respect for espn now, the very idea that the eagles are looking after quality wr's like reggie wayne makes me think big things for 2008-2009

  All i know is, is that the eagles will Pick a Reciever that will take it to the max with the eagles and help them win the games remember Defense wins Championships Sure the eagles will address the Offense but i see the eagles focus more on the Defense just because They are probably gonna follow in the Giants Footsteps Because Lets be honest the Giants dont Have the Best WideOuts the NFL has to offer plus they had injuries Come on guys if the Giants can win the Superbowl with injuries and key players on offense and defense than we can win a SB.. Will it happen anytime soon im not sure i hope so we have to wait and see.....
  But expect The Defense to be more of the sought after for the Eagles there Defense is fine in general but i know they want to address the Tweaks to make a guarantee that the defense is in Great shape an the offense will be the next look around obviously i expect a better season for us Eagles and i hope they dominate like in 04 lets see but they do need to pick up a reasonable receiver with experience............. Lets See

  I'm not saying its going to happen, but you can't help but wonder whats going to happen in INDY. Over the cap by almost $10mill, big stars everywhere Manning, Harrison, Addai, Clark, Wayne...and thats just the offense. You have to bend somewhere so where is it going to be with them...letting Clarke go to FA, retiring harrison, trading Wayne, 10 mil of cap space to unload plus enough to sign your rookies...so 15 million. Where is it coming from?

  Ya Roger Dorn I agree, but yes if this deal happens, I like this better than any other deal the Eagles could get done. I am a huge Reggie Wayne fan, and even being considered as one of the top receivers in the NFL, he is still very under rated. He never drops balls, has great hands, has crisp route running, has speed, and isn't a diva. He would be perfect for Donovan to throw to.

  wow, if the Eagles can make this happen, this would be great. I could live with losing a first rounder from this year, Gocong, and Reggie Brown. I liked Brown before but he has just disappointed me too much. As for Gocong, we really don't need him. I think Gaither will be moved to the left side or he will work the other side, as Steward Bradley will start at middle linebacker. I really like Bradley, and he would be perfect for the middle. Gaither on the outside would be great as he always has a knack of being around the ball. TKO? Need I say anything about this beast? He is a monster and is even better because he can be used at all positions

  Ken Hamlin – Franchising safeties is an affordable alternative. But when a team slaps a franchise tag on a player, it usually does so with the intention of trying to sign him to a long-term contract extension.
  
  For now, it doesn't appear as if Hamlin is in the Cowboys' long-term plans. But enough teams need safeties, and the one that should be most distressing to Dallas is Philadelphia. With one signing, the Eagles could strengthen their roster and weaken the Cowboys.

  Hilarious. You Eagles fans wish this would happen, not a personal attack, just truth. Thankfully for the Colts and Reggie Wayne this will never happen. Reggie Wayne is a future hall of famer with the Colts. If he was to somehow end up with the Eagles and their not-so-high-octane offense his numbers would take quite the hit as would the Colt's chance at another SB and a yellow jacket for Wayne. I also cannot believe that some of you think that this #3 reciever and two draft picks is too much for Reggie. He is yet to reach his prime.
  I see yardbarker has turned into a sort of ridiculous Eagles' rumors page.

  I think Reggie Brown is up and coming, I think it is McNabb who has to learn how to trust his recievers and time his throws instead of throwing behind them. I would like to see the eagles address the kr/pr game
