    Well, the next one is here. Maybe the sweep? At least we got the Linc out of the way and bad taste of the 44-6 out of our mouths now. Every one of you thought the Eagles were going to destroy the Cowboys. This is a different team that is improving every week in all phases of the game. If Roy Williams starts popping, the Eagles will get the same in Dallas. Looks like he might be coming on. That defense looked a little tired at the end when Barber was putting the finishing touches on them. Later man. Good game.

    If this team had Westbrook, the Eagles would have probably won considering Westbrook is a Cowgirl killer.

  I've been saying the Eagles ain't all this hype ESPN been pumping up this off season with the draft and the F/A's and everything. I knew it because last year the teams at the end of the year were without their big guns. Not now the shoe is on the other foot. Just part of the game. One year you up the next you're down.

    Who doesn't talk crap on the field and Asante showed good sportsmanship by helping your player off the ground and I dont see the issue or problem with two guys smiling having a good time worthy of getting his bell rung. Plus it looked much worse than it was thank GOD but another head shot with a knee. That's not a hit I'd be proud of unless your a dirty player or support dirty players. Bell rung is the hit Sheldon Brown put on Reggie Bush wihich was perfectly LEGAL and not an ACCIDENT. Those are the ones you cheer for. When I saw that I automatically thought concussion cause of Westbrook, that's not cool BB. I thought you were better than that man.

    I saw the replay and Felix was trying to go over Asante because he was going low. Just so happens his knee caught him in the head. So, save that dirty player routine. Asante didn't get hurt on the flag with Marion. I don't know what game you were watching NPB, but I sorry it didn't go down the way you described.

    Robbo, I dont know if you replied for the sake of arguement but you obviously have a problem understanding what you read and great at interpreting things to be not what they are. I never said it was a dirty hit or Felix was a dirty player. This is what I said quote on quote "That's not a hit I'd be proud of unless your a dirty player or support dirty players." UNLESS YOUR A DIRTY PLAYER OR SUPPORT DIRTY PLAYERS. No where did I say Felix was dirty or it was a dirty hit. Your boy was gloating on that hit which is why I made that comment. I then went on to say quote on quote "Bell rung is the hit Sheldon Brown put on Reggie Bush which was perfectly LEGAL and not an ACCIDENT. Those are the ones you cheer for." The key word was ACCIDENT which you clearly stated happened when Felix tried to jump over him. Dont cheer for an accidental hit that leaves a player injured. Cheer for a LEGIT hit and hope the players lives to get hit again. Read and understand what you read before you comment.

    plus if you read what bowl wrote you can see i responded with two different answers. He reffered to Asante getting his bell rung AFTER talking trash to the Cowboys player. I said who doesnt talk trash #1 and second reffered to his injury. I watched the game and ya'll to be gloating over that pathetic win shows how desperate of a team ya'll really are.   Ha! What's funny is how you (old man) saved everyone's comment to say "I told you so!" like a 3rd grader. That's probably the most ammusing thing about this article. Sure, the Cowboys won the game (and I predicted a 7 point Eagles win and not a BLOWOUT). But it was a sloppy game played by both teams coupled with a few bad calls by the refs and missing key startes (Westbrook, Macho Harris, Victor Abiramiri, Chris Gocong) and a rookie LB starting his first game while making 1 bone headed play after another (negated the KR TD and big int return by Sheldon Brown). Throw in a hobbled OL for most of the entire season and the inexperience factor and tada! You barely eek out a win. Congrats there buddy. Bottom line is that the Cowboys won the game (yay 4 you and the rest of the 3rd graders *cue third grader cheers n clapping* haha) even though it wasn't quite what you had hoped for after last years 44-6 destruction.
  
  While we played one of our worst games of the year, this could have possibly been Dallas' best game of the year? You have a few "easy" wins coming up with Oakland and Washington on the horizon, but I wouldn't get too comfortable. Winter is coming soon! And Romo LOVES winter as history has shown. While you might have a fun November, I think December is where it's going to hit the fan. Do us a favor and tell the Cowboys to get hot NOW! Because that's always the best way to fizzle out at the end of the season. Can't wait for the rematch and hopefully another boot out of playoff contention. Just like Campbells soup, it will be mmmmmmm mmmmmmmmm good. ha! You can stop reading now, I think it's close to your nap time. And your crayons are getting lonely from your note taking abilities. Preach on pappy! (you can quote me on that one next time) :)

    We get another shot. It's not like this was the only game the Eagles play vs the Cowboys. And Romo tends to be very Romo at the end of the year (as you are all too familiar with I'm sure). San Diego will probably be a tough team since they seem to be on a roll. But Reid is pretty resiliant and good about getting the team back on track. Not too worried in that dept.
    
    But I will say that one of the funniest things last night was watching your moronic head coach Philips celebrate like he won the Superbowl at the end of the game (after Witten catch for the last 1st down). Anyway, enjoy the win while you can. But it just might be a repeat performance of last year... you squaked out a win the first time. But we'll be waiting for a rematch. Until then grandpa, get some sleep. Dinner is at 2pm.

    Homorules: The old man was very selective in making his "statement" and left off some key comments that were made during our first initial conversation. I in fact did say that the Eagles would DESTROY the Cowboys. The old man or Robbo remarked that I already believed it was a forgone conclusion that the Eagles will in fact destroy the Cowboys (assuming I was referring to the first meeting). I replied that yes, in fact the Eagles will destroy the Cowboys. But I never said it would be the first meeting or even WHEN. I said it will eventually happen.
    
    I also gave a prediction on another thread and said it would be a 7 point differential. How exactly does that make me a liar? Well I guess if it was 4 points, then in fact I am a liar.
    
    Again, you are probably one of the biggest dullards in the whole yardbarker community. So I will put it to you plainly: I said the Eagles and Cowboys played a sloppy game. But this was probably the best the Cowboys have played all year (their LEAST sloppy game). Thus, making it their BEST effort up to date while the Eagles played one of their worst games up to date. Re-read that if you don't "get it". It's in print, so feel free to read it as many times as you like until it makes sense to that pea brain of yours. If this continues to be in issue, perhaps you can get your old man buddy to make a manuscript of my statement so you can refer to it in a later date.

  First off, Barber rushed for 50 yds and your boy Choice 13 yds. Hmmm I aint great at math but I know that sh!t don't equal 87 or more. Both backs combined couldn't accomplish that so one of my comments that YOU FAILED TO POST and I wonder why just happened to be correct.     Thats not my arguemtent Cannuck. He wanted to post quotes about HOW WRONG everybody was. If I said Romo wasn't gonna throw for anything then that's different. I based my opinion off stats and cofindence. The rest was plain sh!t talk. I do recall earlier post back in June July August asking why we are talking sh!t and the season hasn't started yet. It's cause that's what fans do, they rep their team and talk sh!t. Even if we won I wouldnt have been happy cause it wasnt convincing. I take that back I would have been happy but not elated. We both layed like crap and that is nothing to brag about.

    Not sure you will this time around. This team hasn't reached it's peak on defense or offense yet. I think there is still a lot of room for improvement. Who knows, there may not be anything to play for but pride in that game. Just have to wait and see how the next 3-4 games go. I hope it does come down to the last game because I'm sure that beating in Philly last year will still be fresh on their minds, even with the recent win.

  saving peoples comments is creepy. i wouldnt go bragging much about this 4 point win because you watched the game and know full damm well the officiating made the difference. don't say that im making excuses because everyone i know, no matter who their team is(including cowboys fans) have told me that the Eagles got f*cked on those calls late in the game.     Bowl, you tend to forget that we also beat you in the 1980 NFC CHAMPIONSHIP game. And that was just as fun as the biggest Eagles/Cobwoys blowout in rival history. I didn't expect the same result from last year in our first meeting, and you were wishing on your lucky stars that you could have won by a HUGE margin so you could brag all year long. And feel vidicated from last years humiliation. At any rate, it didn't happen for you, or for the other fans who thought an inevitable blowout was going to occur. Be happy with your 4 point/sloppy win. And be elated that you actually WON the game. If you would have lost, your lap top would have garnished more dust for your saved quotes. And you would be left stewing for the next 2 months and possibly longer if a sweep did happen. Anyway, different story this week. Go PACKERS!!! haha

    Actually, Romo himself didn't have that bad of a day. Kind of like McNabb. Romo didn't drop those passes or play on the offensive line. We'll see what happens against Washington this weekend. Eagles are on the road again, but the way Cutler is playing, they will probably have 15 INT's.

  I'll tell you what's wrong with the Philly barkers on here. They have no leadership. Squish was their leader. Look at the articles on here. Philly fans are abandoning ship right and left. What better place to start a Squish revival than on a Bowlbound thread. Philly fans need to start a Squish thread. Get a petition to sign so he can see the names. I'll sign it for myself and Bowlbound. We have had petitions to get the legendary Boogerking back. When Lileagle was missing for a couple of weeks the whole yard was out looking for him. Nobody knew Dewey was putting the screws to him at the time. Why not a Squish thread? Why freakin not? Peace.

  damn some people have way to much time on their hands to go back through yardbarker posts and copy and past a bunch of quotes of eagles fans and makin an article out of it...wow get a life....theres much more important things in the life then football...the time u spent copy n pastin all those quotes u could be playin catch with ur kid, working, teach ur kid how to ride a bike, spending time with ur family.
