More Hating on McNabb

What is the deal with all the ridicule?  Everyday there is a new post about how much mcnabb sucks, he chokes, whatever.  And for everyone that defends him there are apparently cowboy fans that decide to join in on the ridicule.  Are these actually cowboys fans going online to down play another team?  Regardless, its quite sad and these arguments are getting everyone nowhere.  If you are a person that gets enjoyment out of going online to make fun of people supporting their team, good for you.  People are allowed to write anything on this site but it seems that most people just try to get a reaction out of people.  all you have to do is write something about mcnabb and people pounce on it.  No one really has any kind of arguments.  I mean its entertaining for a couple minutes when I am at work but after that its just the same thing over and over.  Everyone is allowed to love or hate whoever they want.  Jamming that down peoples throats is another thing.  Mcnabb has 0 championships.  That doesnt mean he is the most overrated quarterback ever.  Is it possible for people just to think he is a good quarterback and not a choke artist?  I can backup my opinion of why I think Mcnabb is a great quarterback with a ton of stats but that wont convince anybody.  Every eagles fan wants him to win a superbowl.  I dont know why everyone that write on this site has a mentality of everything i say is write and you are completely wrong or an idiot if you disagree with me.  You should get over yourselves.  Mcnabb has done a lot of great things in his years here.  Best int ratio of all time.  3rd all time td to int ration.  Consecutive completion records.  No superbowl obviously.  But still, the things he have done may not be nearly as valuable as a championship but they shouldnt be overlooked.  When the team is doing well westbrook and the defense is praised.  if the team loses its mcnabbs fault.  This is where the problem comes in, because there is a double standard.  Be consistent with who you are praising and faulting.  Maybe its because these 'fans' have been hating mcnabb for so long, when he does well they dont want to admit it, because it would make them wrong.  No one wants to be wrong.  Now what they are clinging onto is mcnabbs raise.  I think its well deserved.  Mcnabb had a personal best for passing yards.  Clearly there is something left in the tank.  He just wants security that he will be leading the offense for the next two years.  Whats wrong with that?  The guy wants to win a championship.  He has been asking for weapons and playmakers, how can that be a bad thing?  Now he has a stronger line, pass catching tight ends, an extremely fast group of receivers, hopefully a healthy westbrook, a true fullback to pave the way, and another running back that can catch the ball out of the backfield.  Is this the year?  Who knows.  The team has really improved, considering they were so close to making it to the superbowl.  As always I welcome any civillized argument.  And who is better than McNabb right now?  The obvious Brady and Peyton Manning.  Eli?  I wouldnt say so.  Without Burress what has he done?  Romo?  Kurt Warner?  Maybe.  But he surrounds himself with talent.  Bruce, Holt, Faulk.  Then Fitzgerald and Boldin.  Didnt fare too well as a Giant.    Definitely a great quarterback, but stats only get you so far as many of the people on this site say.  Its only about the championships, which he has none.  Rothlesberger.  2 championship rings.  Hard to argue that.  Doesnt strike me as a game changer.  But the guy won two championships.  So out of every quarterback in the nfl, I only put 3 ahead of mcnabb.  Am I biased because I am an eagles fan?  I dont think so.  I believe in giving credit where credit was due.  Statistically, McNabb had a better game against the cardinals than Rothlesberger did.  The difference is that the steelers returned an interception from warner down the field, while the eagles watched fitzgerald destroy us.  Its a team game and you have to accept that each team wins and loses as a team.  And I know when people read this they will take it to the extreme as usual and act like mcnabb can do no wrong and he is our savior.  Sorry when you bash a guy as much as mcnabb when he is a talented quarterback, some fans feel the need to defend him.
