Ready to give up?

As some of you have mentioned on previous posts it seems as though you're ready to give up on Andy, Donovan, and well the entire Eagles organization. And if thats the case, then you are seriously RIDICULOUS. And here is why..........

Brett Favre and the Packers lost in the NFC championship game 3 years in a row to the Cowgirls. In 1992, the packers were playing the Bucs, they were down 17-0. Holmgren Benched Don Majkowski and Favre played in the second half, the packers lost 31-3. The 3rd game of the season, Majkowski gets injured and Favre comes in. He fumbles the Ball four times, the crowd chants for the 3rd string QB, who happened to be Ty Detmer. However, Favre did end up winning the game. (Does any of this sound familiar?).

John Elway, went to 3 SB and lost. In 1987 they lose to the Giants, in 1988 they lose to the Redskins, and in 1990 they lose to the 49ers. They Finally win in 1998, 8 years later. Was anyone ready to give up on him?

Kurt Warner, released from the Packers in 1994 and forced to play for the AFL. In 1998 the Rams pick him up as a 3rd string QB. he finally starts in 1999 leading the Rams to a SB victory against the Titans.

Payton Manning, rookie season 3-13. Loses about 6-7 playoff games before winning the SB.

Tony Dungy, with the Bucs in 1996-2001 and 2001-2008 with the Colts. Finally winning the SB in 2007 against the Bears.

Drew Brees, named one of the leagues best QB's right now. He lost starting job to Rivers, Lost NFC Champ. game against the bears, he committed 3 costly turnovers. And look at what he did to us last week.

Jim Kelly, imagine going to 4 SB in a row and losing all of them.

Bill Cowher, took him 15 years before winning the BIG GAME.

But all of you wonder why Andy is still our head coach and Donovan our starting QB. Maybe we should call Ray rhodes or Rich kotite, or even Randall Cunningham( which we only won 1 playoff game I believe with him). So, what did any of these guys do for the organization?

These particular players have been through a lot of ups and downs in this league when most were ready to give up. This is my point I am trying to make, so to all of you McNabb, Andy, Eagles organization and even Kolb haters, phuck you. I bet some of you would rather have brees as our QB or even backup and look at where he was, before he was where he is now.
