Vick Being Traded?

After seeing Eagles quarterback Kevin Kolb run the team for the past two weeks and the little effect Michael Vick on the team's offense, there is some speculation floating around that the Eagles may look to trade Vick, according to NFL.com. If he doesn't go during this season, he's likely to get dealt during the coming off-season.

Plenty of teams are already having problems at quarterback and have a little more patience to give to the improving Vick than the Eagles do right now. Plus, Vick's contract jumps to $5 million next season and it's unclear whether the folks in Philly would really want to spend that kind of dough if they've got McNabb and Kolb getting the job done.

However, head coach Andy Reid may be too far into the Vick Experiment to give up on it that quickly. And the word is, according to the Philadelphia Daily News, that the team is going to release its fourth-string quarterback, Jeff Garcia, this week.
