Would You Rather Be Lucky Than Good ???
Should someone look at the stats of tonights` game, not knowing the score, he might assume that the Redskins won. Campbell completed four more passes than DMAC threw altogether. The total yards favor Washington. It does pay sometimes to be lucky, rather than good.
But the lowly Skins, still put 17-points on the board. Not exactly a blowout.

Do you think a BCS team could beat the Titans or Bucs? Seriously, I think they could.

I was pissed off that the Skins put up 17. But lets not forget that they're offense can be pretty effective with Portis leading the way.

Why would you pass if you have AP on the field who is all jacked up after that run. I know they were giving him a blow on the sideline, but judging from the disgust on his face, I think he could have managed to keep running on adreniline alone.
I thought the pass was high. I blame interceptions on both the passer and intended receiver.
But when it all comes down to it, you are absoulutely correct. It is a team sport.

Have you ever read Kurt Vonnegut's Sirens of Titans? Malachi Constant, the main character in Kurt's second novel has some fantastic luck, so much that he doesn't even have to try at anything and becomes the richest man on the planet. Anyway, (spoiler alert!) by the end of the book he ends up dying a lonely, sad death where his implanted hallucination is the only "happy ending" he receives.
My favorite program last night, Lie to Me, had a lot to do with luck. Tim Roth, the actor who plays Dr. Cal Lightman on the show had a quote about luck -- "All luck is earned in the end." I think Malachi earned his luck, as well as the Eagles.
