Could the Washington Redskins Sign Michael Vick in 2014?

In 2014, if the inevitable Kirk Cousins' trade materializes, the Washington Redskins could be in the market for a backup quarterback. Thanks to the recent emergence of Philadelphia Eagles' quarterback Nick Foles, Michael Vick could be looking for a new home when he becomes a free agent next year.

With those two things in mind, is there a possibility that Michael Vick lands in Washington to serve as Robert Griffin III's backup next season? Here's why the Redskins should at least ponder the thought.

  • I'm thinking Vick is going to be looking for one more chance at a starting gig but you never know if no teams are interested. I'm just happy the Vick days seem to be coming to an end in Philly. Brought him in as a backup in 2009 and besides a nice 8 game run in 2010 and a few highlight plays it's been a lot of ugly football.
  • No, because there is no reason for them to.
