We need 2LBs. I love Chaney hes a beast and a young leader! Resign DJAX! My opinion and it wont change! Resign Mathis to a 3 year deal and spend the 2nd Round pick on a project! Keep Castillo i truely think he was gettin there and want him to stay Rework Brandon Grahams deal that dude got paid 5 milli are u fing kidding me he did nothing has shown little promise and made 5 mil redonkulous This may be just me but i want us to draft Alshon Jeffery phisical fast and great hands ( unlike captain drops everything Maclin) I love Coleman but im not sure about Nate Allen maybe trade for a legit saftey or start Jarret but i just dont know about Coleman And that I think should do it we got a great team just need to keep meshing and i think we will go big places!

Two linebackers indeed. I like Nigel Bradham out of Florida for the WLB spot. Move Chaney back out to SLB.
I also want the Eagles to take another look at Matthews at MLB. He played much better ball down the stretch, but he's too slow to line up on a slot, or cover backs down the sideline. (Brandon Jacobs is no burner and we ALL saw what happened.) Playing Matthews at OLB just sets him up to fail.
I also like the idea of bringing in Kirk Morrison from Buffalo. He's a vet MLB with plenty tread left on his tires, who could mentor Matthews and any MLB that happens to get drafted.
I'm still sorting out who and at what spot I think they should go after a MLB. (Not that they'd listen if they heard me, lol.) -
i hope matthews sticks to special teams this year n only plays a backup role in LB. i was looking online n seen some good FA LBs, just not sure how up to date it was cause Drew Brees was rated as number 1 FA n im pretty sure he resigned. but i would target Curtis Lofton is he is gonna be out. like morrison but lofton is a beast some other nice LBs gonna be available too

im right with you i loved the matthews pick in the draft and i always have in the back of my mind that his brother wasnt great his rookie year either but i think wed have a need where ever Chaney isnt

Ill pass on the second look at Matthews. Thats a loser move. keep him as a special teamer and reliable backup. However I will concede that Burfick looks like the real deal.

Agree Hollywood, he looks like a freaking beast. Has the heart and passion of a Ray Lewis, just not the skills. We need a leader who will fire up the D the way B Dawk used to, we just don't have that type of player on that side anymore and it shows. Heck Trotter was more of a vocal leader than the LBs we have now. When things start to go wrong (i.e.five fourth quarter leads blown) no one is stepping up to fire up the troops and stop the bleeding.

Romorules is right. We do need a backup quarterback. We all know Vick wont last a full season.

i couldnt agree more with romo and im sry but VY just wasnt the answer my two tthoughts where maybe bring 5 back if he could keep his mouth shut and ego in check hed be a crazy good back up the other was maybe drafting a project kid in the 2nd or third that could take up Vicks mantle when he retires.

Here's the issue. If they bring in a Vet, then they can't draft Vick's replacement since they have Kafka on the roster unless they have plans to trade Kafka. BTW trading Kafka would not be a bad thing. The only way they can add the vet and add the future is to trade Kafka. I think Mcnabb would be a good backup if he can check the ego. He's still thinks he's a starter in this league though.....

Bring back AJ Feeley again as our backup, I think Eazy or Bflip suggested this before. He knows our system and always performed decently when coming in for and injured #5. He can win games for us when Vick misses a couple. He's cheaper and better for our system then VY.

AJ stinks. I wouldnt mind Trent Edwards or Vince Young. A former starter gives some flexibility.

You don't want to go back to Vince Young. I think he's color blind. Trent Edwards is the most likely candidate, but Kafka might be better than him.

Feeley was flip's suggestion. I haven't stated much on the guy. Now if my choices were McNabb or Feeley then i take McNabb. I think it's been a long time since Feeley was a quality player in this league. The Eagles throw the ball to much for guys like him, Young, and Edwards. They throw too many interceptions.

Second trade Asante for best offer be it picks or a player
then my Free Agent wish list( we gonna get em all canuck)
1) MLB: Stephen Tulloch or David Hawthorne AND Dan Connor
2) OLB: Manny Lawson
3) Safety: Laron Landry and Reggie Nelson
4) Guard: Ben Grubbs
5) RB: LT or Steve Slaton
most arent gonna happen but i think these players will help us the most with the current roster we have. -
6) QB: Josh Johnson and AJ Feely ( move kafka)

That's a lot of player movement. So much that they might find themselves in the same situation as last season. Winning the off-season, losing team cohesion, and ultimately losing games. I heard a rumor on the Eagles were interested in Curtis Lofton from the Falcons.

yea i get u but they will have a real offseason this year n all of it isnt gonna happen but this is the way i would target. n i mentioned lofton before but i just dont see them doing it

You may not believe this but this organization couldn use the stability that McNabb brings. Right now his attitude, as much as it wasnt like Trotter or dawkins, might be the calming influence this team needs.
