If there was ever a time to pull out "Conduct detrimental to the team" now is the time to use it.

Somebody needs to hit the bench and hard.  A fine and gag order are primarily set up for stuations when teams have diarrhea of the mouth.  And the Eagles have the full blown virus.  I would start with Babin and work my way to the key players if necessary.  Babin is already a casualty and wont be an Eagle next year unless he does something spectacular.  Maybe a sack or two?  But the organization needs to draw aline of behavior allowable when disrespecting your fan base.  Although  its a disgusting display,   somewhere along the way the players think the customers are pretty worthless.   Thats not good when employees of a business start treating customers poorly it usually has a backlash.  Most of the time its losing business. Owner and management arrogance is a little more acceptable if you are running a good business.  its perceived as being striong and knowing what you are doing.  But that model is collapsing before our eyes.  And now the players only following what they have learned from management and the owner are trying the same methods to defend themselves.  They are ignorant to the fact that they are not that important.  If a order taker at Burger King said too you we dont like your attitude do you think he would be serving french fries to his customers.  No, he would be reading help wanted ads.

  • I think conduct detrimental to the team might be a full stretch. Now T.O.'s conduct was detrimental to the team. He tore the team apart, but Babin is just an idiot who can't play anymore. I do agree that Reid should or one of the so called leaders should (who are the leaders on this team anyway?) call a team only meeting, and in that meeting tell all of their buddies to cut all the controversial quotes and twitter comments. Of course none of them will do this, because they love to say stupid stuff so much.
