MY ONE WEEK STAND.

DOWN the street getting bagels to go with my coffee, I heard two guys almost arguing over who to root for in the Super Bowl.

First guy wants the Ravens to win because since it's Ray Lewis's last game it would be the best way to "end it all" (his words), "like Jordan should have".

Second guy says 9ers because "Akers shouldn't go to two and not get one".

Both compelling arguments.

I'm going with the Ravens. I know Ray already has a ring, but it just feels somehow...right. It seem RIGHT that they should be the Super Bowl Champions. The team has been solid and consistent. The coach has kept them focused through all kinds of adversity. And the fans just seem to deserve it.

Besides, anything that steals the Foreskins thunder has to be good, right?

  • Check your inner self. Maybe you are a Redskin fan too, but you didn't realize that yet. Maybe you want the 49ers to win because they are your fifth team! Two AFC to one NFC isn't going to cut it. You need to even the odds. I wouldn't worry about credibility or anything if I were you. You lost that a long time ago.
  • RAVENS!!!

    IT WAS DESTINY!!!
  • No, it was Destiny's Child.
  • who to blame NO 1....
