September 12, 2013

EVERYONE has a few things they'd like to see out of this team, and while I'm sure most fans would say Super Bowl, I'm going to slow it down a bit and just focus on this week for now.

DeSean Jackson has never caught 2 TD's in one game. This week is PERFECT time to get that done. New system, at home, in a game that should be heavy on the run.

Zack Ertz look like a second round pick.

Micheal Vick catch a pass from LeSean McCoy. I can think of no better way to absolutely freeze a defense for the remainder of a game, than to hand the ball off to a RB, and then have him THROW it to a QB who makes a quick gain and gets out of bounds. Or even better to score from inside the five.

Vick trying fewer blocks. I LOVED his heart for doing it, but I know if I were playing against him, he'd still be asleep today. I can't imagine that NFL defenders are somehow LESS homicidal than myself.

An honest to god 2-Deep zone. I don't know what you call what the Safeties are lined up in or what the coverage look is, but I can tell you they always look out of place and a step behind. Get them out of the box, and maybe into some Robber. Ronnie Lott made a the second half of his career as a master of the Robber. It's not hard to learn, and it beats the balls off what we have going now.

That's me. What would you like to see?
