THE NEXT MLB.
WHAT is the deal with everyone who wants Luke Kuechly? Don't we already have that guy on the roster? Isn't his name Casey Matthews?
I thought everyone thought that Casey is too small (6'1 232). Kuechly isn't much bigger (6'2 237).
I thought everyone thought that Casey is too slow (4.79). Kuechly has about the same (4.80)speed.
Neither excels in covering backs in the flat. Neither is a vocal leader. Isn't the point of "The Quest for a MLB!" also about changing the attitude of the Defense? I don't know about you, but I don't want a quiet MLB.
I want a guy who if not for football, would be in jail somewhere. I want a guy who needs this game to cope with reality and who growls at small children.
I want a guy like ME.
A MLB is a cesspool of pent up rage and barely contained hostility. He 's a guy who intimidates FOOTBALL PLAYERS. He's paid to be mean, violent, and to do all the things we all wish we could; while waiting for this doctor to call me after I've been sitting here for 30 minutes for my 9a.m. appointment. The place opened at 9! Who the h*** could be ahead of me?!
It's just that I don't want another Casey Matthews. If we can't get the one we have to work, I don't see the point in us buying a new one.

You are correct. Luke K. is not the answer. We need to draft Hightower from Alabama. Bottom line is kid is tough has attitude and can flat out play!! Take Burfict if Hightower is gone even with character issues. We dont need anymore guys that had alot of tackles cause they played on bad teams like Luke. We need real players. Should have and could have drafted Pierre Paul and NavarroBowman in same draft but instead took graham and Allen. All because of "our schemes"!! BS! Take the players that can flat out play!!
-
I agree with you and Phillypride. I would love to see the Bama kid. He has three things I like size ( 6'4 260), winning, and he's an SEC talent. Not to mention the fact he can flat out play. I am not a fan of drafting a guy who played great on a bad team in a bad conference. I am a little concerned with the injury from before, but that guy would be a monster in the middle.
-
Hightower or Burfict would be outstanding. Burfict is an absolute psycho. We need more violence on this defense if you know what I mean.
-
Yes I do. We need some of that Ray Lewis like viciousness. DID YOU SEE THE HIT HE PUT ON BRADY ON THAT SNEAK?
-
I saw some highlights on Burfict. The guy is a beast, but some of his actions concern me a bit. He take a lot of penalties and can tend to lead with his head. There was a point where his coaches tried to pull him out of a game (after an unsportsmanlike penalty) and he refused. He can't be screwing up in the NFL like that, because it will hurt his team.

Not a fan of either player. Both are old.

Andy will most likely "sure up" the mlb position with an old retread like london fletcher or bradie james or injury project. Then he will draft another hybrid like gocong or teo-nisham. Or draft a olb and move him out of position to mlb like matthews. Bottom line is we need someone drafting defense who understands defense!!! There are no BS "scheme" players. Either u can play or u cant play!! Draft Hightower or Burfict. Move chaney to strongside and play mathews at will! Mathews is not as bad as all believe. He was put in the middle by our wonderful DC and phat andy!! Put him back with chaney on other side and rookie hightower in middle. Ull see a diference
-
Havent been on in awhile! but i honestly think they will draft an OLB and bring back Stew Bradley who ive read will probably be released by the Cards!
-
Burfict is an animal. He needs to be in a green jesrsey. There is no doubt in my mind that he has a few screws loose. We need somebody like the linebacker from the movie "The Program" cant spell adidas but can memorize a playbook. Other than the defensive line we had nobody out there that can hit. How many hits this year made you yell ohhhhh. 2 all season for me. When Nnamdi hit Chris cooley and Cullen jenkins blasted whoever that was he hit. They need to go ahead and unleash Jarrett too, let him start he cant be that much worse then Nate Allen. Just a thought
-
When Jenkins knocked that RB out of the game, my woman was like "No matter what angle they show the replay from, he still comes from out of nowhere!" That was a great hit. Then of course Nnamdi ending Cooley's year was also big time.
