APPARENTLY even the Eagles are keeping an eye on how our Raiders rebuild and remake the team image and culture. Enough to even put up an article about it on their website.

Perhaps they see the Raiders as an example of how to re-orient a franchise badly in need of an image make over.  Especially one that's used to prominence, now seeming relegated to being a league-wide afterthought.

It'll be nice to see my teams grow up together.

  • The Raiders isn't " our" team. If the Raiders are the team they are looking at for guidance then they are screwed. Fortunately I know the Eagles aren't that dumb.
  • I'm not even sure how an article about an ex-coach and how he's going to the Raiders is misconstrued as the Eagles looking to the Raiders for guidance but if he's happy I'm happy.
  • Just to recap. The Eagles hire one of the best coaches in college football and he's angry about it. The Raiders hire one of the so called best coaches who did nothing his entire time with the Eagles and he is giddy. Love mediocrity much?
  • "One of the most respected special-teams tutors in the NFL, April has served as an assistant coach in the league for 21 seasons, including the last three with the Philadelphia Eagles"

That's a quote from the Raiders site. It rocks when you can say that you have a killer coaching staff. Our's is getting to that point.
  • So the Raiders told you they have one of the best staffs in football?! Wow you have fallen far. In any case post your RAIDERS BS on the Raiders site. Nobody gives a crap about two of your three teams over here. You are turning into nothing more than a cross between Romorules and Hollywood with this stuff.. You have become exactly what you claimed you were trying to clean up further falling down your path to complete hypocrisy.
  • YOU HAVE HIM NOW..HIS NAME Charles "chip" Kelly
  • Yesterday that website had a report on Bowles going to the Cardinals, tomorrow it will be another assistant. All they are doing is reporting on ex-Eagle coaches. Still not sure where he got the idea that they may have been keeping an eye on how the Raiders rebuild their image and culture. Nothing in the article he posted the link to even hinted at what he typed.
