The Beginning of Winning the NFC West Trophy

First off let me explain something about my last blog entry, I was not unhappy with the play of the 49ers overall but more upset that Favre again has blocked us from a win. But after watching the game between the Vikings and Packers these past week I'm happy that we did better defense wise than the Packers did to the point that Jared Allen was more of a pain in the ass to the Packers than to the 49ers.

Now onward to this last game with our long time rivals the St. Louis Rams. We are another game closer to catching up with them the win/loss wise. Pretty much every football fan had us beating the Rams because they are in such sad shape but as everyone also knows no game is won until you actually play the game.

I thoroughly enjoy the ultimate outcome but there are still problems that need to be dealt with before we can move into the elite of the league no matter what our wins and losses say.

First off, now that we finally have our 2009 1st round draft pick in camp there is expectations of long passes and great receiving with everyone remembering the college days of Michael Crabtree....
