Emeka Okafor wants out of Charlotte
Free-agent to be Emeka Okafor and the Charlotte Bobcats cannot come to an agreement on a contract extension because the Bobcats are lowering their offer from last season. Okafor had a good year and stayed healthy all season, yet the Bobcats are reducing their offer, why? Well, I get the fact that Okafor isn't a legit scoring threat; yea he pours in 12 ppg on put-backs and hustle plays, but he's never going to be an All-Star level scorer. But despite this drawback, he's one of the best defensive big men in the league and he deserves good money. Plus, who are the Bobcats going to sign/play if he leaves?
