Josh "Hippie Lettuce" Howard Arrested AGAIN .... This Time: Drag Racing

----in a LEXUS. --------against a VOLKWAGEN. (Yeah, you read that correctly.) Thursday night in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on the southbound Business 40 and Silas Creek Parkway some occifers were patrolling for speeders and noticed a black Lexus and a Volkswagen approaching. The po-po decided to pull over the black Lexus, which Howard was driving. Racial profiling? I don't know. Was he speeding? Yes. I believe 95 MPH in a 55 MPH zone is speeding in just about everyone's book. He was arrested around midnight and charged with speeding, reckless driving and racing. Personally, I didn't know you could GET arrested for such things without actually being CAUGHT IN THE ACT of racing and/or you wreck your car in the course of your reckless driving, but that's a story for another time. As we all know, they do things a little different down there. No hippie lettuce was found in the vehicle this time (thank god) and he was released on his own recognizance, I believe. Sidenote: Howard grew up in Winston-Salem is in town to host a basketball camp at his alumnus Wake Forest this week. He was seen at camp today but declined to comment to reporters this time around. (good thinking, Josh).
